Textile EPR 2040: Imagining Future Directions

Join the “Textile EPR 2040 – Imagining Future Directions” workshop, taking place in person in Paris on 24–25 June 2026 in the scope of the Horizon Europe TRUSTex project.

There is a lot happening around textile EPR in Europe at the moment, with discussions and events taking place almost every week. In this workshop, TRUSTex will use foresight to stress-test the fundamentals of textile EPR across different future scenarios.

Some of the realities shaping the sector today looked very different only a few years ago, from the rise of ultra-fast fashion to social media becoming a key driver of trends and purchasing decisions. Looking ahead, what other shifts might emerge, and how resilient would current EPR systems be in responding to them?

What to expect?

Over 1,5 days, participants will:

  • identify key drivers and uncertainties shaping the future of textiles and EPR

  • develop and discuss plausible future scenarios

  • exchange perspectives with peers from across the textile value chain

  • contribute practical insights to discussions on the future design of EPR system

Why join?

This workshop is particularly relevant for those who wish to:

  • bring operational and implementation experience into the conversation

  • anticipate future challenges and blind spots

  • learn from peers facing similar questions

  • better understand what future EPR systems could mean for your organization

    you interested?

Participation costs can be covered if needed, and practical information on travel and accommodation will be shared after confirmation of participation.
