On 9 May 2025, for the 14th webinar of our ECOSYSTEX Insights Series, we welcomed T-REX, Waste2BioComp, ALIGNED , and VERDEinMED.
We first heard from Maria Natalia Mena Garza from adidas who discussed T-REX's blueprint for scaling T2T recycling in Europe. Helena Vilaça from CITEVE then presented Waste2BioComp final results shaping the future with bio-based materials. Jurjen Spekreijse from BTG Biomass Technology Group BV discussed innovative approaches to LCA in the textile Industry and the lessons from the ALIGNED project.
Finally, Chrysovalantis (Valantis) Ketikidis from Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH) showcased how VERDEinMED is preventing and reducing the textiles waste mountain in the MED area.
