Join SOLSTICE in Berlin for “Scaling Textile Repair and Reuse in European Urban Centers: Systemic Levers”, a half-day event exploring how repair and reuse can be scaled across European cities through cultural, governance, and market-driven solutions. This on-site gathering on the afternoon of 5 May 2026 will feature expert presentations, a high-level panel discussion, and a guided visit to an innovative textile microfactory, offering practical insights into systemic change for circular textiles.
The event begins with a spotlight on SOLSTICE showcasing the REPAIR DEAL pilot, and presenting Circular Berlin’s new policy paper, together with actionable recommendations for urban decision-makers and practitioners.
The core of the afternoon will be a panel discussion on systemic levers for scaling textile repair and reuse in European cities. Bringing together perspectives from different regions and sectors, the panel will explore how public policy, business innovation, and citizen engagement can work together to enable repair and reuse at scale.
The day concludes with a visit to VORN, and a guided tour of their SHIFT Microfactory, offering participants a look at innovative production and repair concepts in action.
