On 8 November 2024, we hosted a special edition of our ECOSYSTEX Insights Series dissemination webinar, in which we presented the work done in 2 of our 4 ECOSYSTEX Technical Working Groups.

Pirjo Heikkilä, Leader of the Working Group on Assessment of Different Recycling Technologies & End-of-Life Options, and Principal Scientist at VTT updated us on their library of publications and reports about textile recycling technologies, and their database of current and emerging textile recycling technologies and EoL options. Karin Eufinger, Leader of the Working Group on Renewable Materials & Standards, and Standards Manager at Centexbel then presented an overview of the availability of renewable materials and standards for testing, characterising and evaluating them.
