On 12 June 2026, for the 23rd webinar of our ECOSYSTEX Insights Series, we explored cutting-edge projects driving the textile sector's twin transition, from colour innovation to chemicals traceability and sustainable procurement.
We kicked off with Pammi Sinha from the University of Leeds, who shared the outcomes of Colour4Crafts and what colour innovation means for tomorrow's textile industry. Valentin Nallet from TECHTERA then presented the ELEVATEX open call, outlining how it is funding Europe's textile twin-transition. Alexandre Charpentier Poncelet from Neovili and Claire Lombard from Luxembourg Media & Digital Design Centre (LMDDC) followed with a deep dive into Interreg ECHT in practice, showcasing SME guidance on chemicals traceability through a knowledge platform and AI chatbot. We wrapped up with Núria Cases i Sampere from ACR+ | Association of Cities and Regions for sustainable Resource management who presented CISUTAC's public procurement guidelines for textiles, a practical tool for driving sustainability through public purchasing.
