On 22 October 2025, for the 17th webinar of our ECOSYSTEX Insights Series, we marked the official launch of the Skills & Education Working Group by welcoming for the first time projects focusing on textile skills who presented their work preparing the TCLF workforce for the twin transition.
We first heard from Pedro Filipe Gonçalves from EURATEX (European Apparel and Textile Confederation) who presented AEQUALIS4TCLF's blueprint laying the foundations for skills and education across 7 European countries. Sonia Barani and Christina Harms from ITKAM - Italian Chamber of Commerce for Germany then showcased SiT's innovative training pathways for a green and circular transition, while Arianna Moroder from Lottozero textile laboratories explained how IMASUS is bridging research and practice for sustainable fashion design.
