On 13 June 2025, for the 15th webinar of our ECOSYSTEX Insights Series, we welcomed 3 project funded by the Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE JU): Bio-LUSH, POLYMERS-5B, and pHYBi.
We first heard from Vinicius Lobosco from PaperPlat AB who discussed Bio-LUSH's biomass valorisation for sustainable and high quality fiber materials. Dr. Luis Mariano Fonseca Vasquez from IST-ID/iBB, David Sánchez Domene from EURECAT and Cecilia Guarás from Bobochoses then presented how POLYMERS-5B is transforming bio waste into new textile possibilities. Finally, Andrea Martos Domínguez from IDENER.AI showcased pHYBi Project's PHYtomanagement as a sustainable feedstock source of lignocellulosic-based high-value bio-based products for textile applications.
